1 Ruby Directors, Rob and Jeanette Baigent joined GNLD 21 years ago simply to be able to save money on household running costs.

A laboratory technician by profession, Jeanette felt she needed to stay home to be with her children and GNLD proved the ideal opportunity to do just this. Rob, an analytical chemist in indus­trial water treatment has always supported Jeanette in the running of her GNLD Business.








Jeanette recalls that she was initially not interested in the GNLD Business side of things; she simply wanted to buy products at a discount in order to save some money.

  Jen also suffered from severe sinusitis and through using the products her condition improved dramatically. She attended a training session with Dr. Don Lawson and recalls: "Don totally changed my mind about nutrition; little did I know at the time that nutrition would become such a big part of my life ­my true passion in fact!" Jeanette has since gone on to complete two Diplomas in Primary Health Care & Nutritional Medicine.
 




Before GNLD, the couple had never been overseas. Today they are seasoned travelers having visited numerous interna­tional destinations including Disney World. The GNLD Business has allowed them to achieve many of their goals far quicker than otherwise possible including paying off their bond and invest­ing in additional properties that allow them to earn extra income. Jeanette says that her GNLD Bonuses come in handy now more than ever as they help her travel to the United States to visit their son and daughter. Peter (36) lives in Florida, and Beverly (33) lives in Los Angeles. GNLD means that Jeanette regularly gets to dote over her grandchildren Lily and Dylan. Peter is an Emerald Director and Beverly a Senior Manager in the GNLD Business.


Jeanette's greatest challenge nowadays she feels is time! Between running her busi­ness and team meetings, attending nutri­tional presentations and keeping on top of her family responsibilities, She has little time left to herself. However, her GNLD nutrition keeps her healthy and energised even in her 'sixty-something’s.' Jeanette comments: "What we probably appreciate most about GNLD is the free­dom it gives us. If one of our children needs me, I am able to pack my bags and go - no need to negotiate time off with the boss! This business also has no borders and we receive bonuses from as far away as Australia and America! Where else can one get an opportunity like this for a start up fee of only R300?"

Jeanette says she is absolutely confident of the GNLD difference when she tells people about the products: "I know for a fact that these products work, and hence they sell themselves. 
No one needs special sales skills to do this business. If I could do it, then absolutely anyone can!"

GNLD's Omega-3 is still her top selling product after 21 years - a sure testimony to its undisputable effectiveness. Over the years Jeanette and Rob achieved 5 Ruby status in their business, but because of various factors they went through some difficult times. Never once however, did they think of giving up. They believed in the GNLD dream and as 1 Ruby Directors today, Jen has the goal of building her business back up to 3 Ruby as she feels the need to share this opportunity with others.
