"I am an Emerald Director and my husband and I started this business 15 years ago in Johannesburg so as to be able to stay at home with my children. I am a trained specialist art teacher for the age’s grade 3 to 7 but I did not want to go back to work. GNLD was the perfect business for me .I was able to earn while being very involved with my family and I was ensured of the best health for all of us while building a very successful distributorship. We moved to Cape Town in 1991 and the business just came with us and soon we had built a very large exciting team. We operate in Johannesburg and Cape Town now. My children have grown up on Vita Squares and Nutrishake amongst others and today they are very healthy active young women Robyn aged 21yrs and Jaclyn 19yrs.It is thanks to the Nutrition that both girls have been such successful athletes in their chosen sports. Robyn when in Matric was involved at a first team level in Water polo and Hockey but her first love was rowing. She was the South African Gold Medalist in Single sculls and Double sculls and represented South Africa at the world U18 Championships in Lithuania . She was selected for the SA students crew in 2004 and then was offered a full ride scholarship to go to Washington State University to row for them They are in Division one and she has been selected for the first[varsity] crew. Jaclyn also an athlete playing water polo hockey and doing rowing represented Western Province in two sports rowing [SA silver medalist double sculls], and hockey played every year since she was U13.She is currently doing a gap year in England. Both girls cannot live without their Nutrishake as it is the only protein they can have when competing .It is easily digestible and helps them recover quickly afterwards. My doctor’s bills are non existent and even through vigorous training they manage to keep a healthy strong immune system
My business has taken me all over the world to places like Disney World, Munich , Singapore and San Francisco . I now have distributors also all over the world .America, Germany , England and am set to expand into other parts of Africa .
I am 47 years of age and due to the great nutrition I am still playing league hockey and have completed three Argus cycle races. I am an avid hiker and cannot think of a five day trek across the mountains without my LDC which I use for everything from pots, socks, the body, and the hair and I know it is safe for the environment."
